Kingrea Family Update

It has clearly been way too long since I have last posted!! I think it has been 6 months??!!
Last I posted Reese had just turned 2 and now she is 2-1/2!

Life is great and of course our  kids are growing like wild flowers!

Charlie:
My sweet boy is about to turn 4! He is getting so big and tall. He is wearing a size 11-1/2 shoe and wearing a size 5t.
He is our angel. We say he is either going to be the President or a Priest (or preacher let's hope so I can have grandkids :). He talks about God all the time and prays and preaches out loud.
He is so curious and constantly asks questions.
The other day in the car he told Craig "It's beautiful in this world. I love it...did, did God get tired after making this world?"
He loves Superheros's, building blocks, trying any type of foods. Loves "Slushie" aka "Shushi" Does not like Chocolate or cake but loves strawberry ice cream. Loves reading books and telling stories! The other night in bed he asked me mommy...do you want me to tell you a sweet story or a scary story. I of course said "sweet" and well, he went on to tell me a made up story about a Princess and a Prince. So sweet.
He pronounces Bandaid "Band abe" and Tongue "Tum"
He loves his sister (well at most times, he is upset as I type because she knocked over his tower he built). He always wants to protect her and he introduces his self as "I'm Charlie and I'm Three and this is my little sister Reesie and she is 2". If he wins something or earns a treat he always wants two so he can give to his sister! His birthday is right around the corner and he is about to start Pre-K 4!

Lily Reese:
My very strong willed, beautiful, tough as nails, sweet, spirited little girl! She has been a lot tougher during her 2's then Charlie ever was. Praise the Lord she is growing out of the terrible twos some!
We are working on potty training. Everyone says its a lot easier with girls, oh no, no, not with this one little girl. She is doing better and is so proud when she goes that she carries her potty around the house for all of us to see!
She absolutely loves Make-up and Baby dolls! She will try to steal my make-up and is so happy holding her own lip stick! Her favorite babies are baby Lily and baby Bear and she strolls them around the house. She is a girly girl!
Reese is rough and tough with her brother and loves him to pieces!
She is talking so well and is so funny. She always tries to get her way. She loves chuck e cheese and chick fil a playground.
Reese and Charlie are at the same Pre-school right near each other and it makes me happy that they see each other all the time and play with each other on the playground when they can! She is well protected.
Reese is a firecracker and love her so so much!

Lily Reese Turns 2!!

I can not even believe our baby girl is now 2! With the second child time slips by just so fast.
I guess it's with help of Big Brother showing her the ropes and teaching her so many things that our little baby is growing too fast!
Our Miss Reese:
Miss Independent- Miss Beautiful, Miss Manipulator, Miss Strong-Willed- Miss Spirited- Miss Daddy's Girl. You are our Angel and we love you to pieces!
Into everything these days! Especially Mommy's make-up. I never thought I would have such a Girly Girl but I have her! Loves makeup, dolls, bows, dress up, flowers and could go on!
She is one tough cookie but also one little love bug!
We had a small birthday celebration at home to start her week (cake for breakfast =) and that afternoon at the park with just the 4 of us. The next day we went to Margy's house where we had a joint celebration of Margy's 86th and Reese's 2nd. We enjoyed the birthdays with lots of family! The following weekend, we had her birthday party at her favorite place- The Park! Since it was Mardi Gras weekend- we kept that the theme. She had a ball!
Mommy: "Reese what do you want for your birthday"? Reese: "CAKE"!
Happy birthday our little LOVE!

Audubon Zoo/ Weekend fun

We just bought the year pass for the Zoo and Aquarium and we are so excited. One yearly fee and you go as many times as you want to either place- what a deal!
Last weekend we had the most beautiful weather so we decided before Mardi Gras and Super bowl madness begins, we would enjoy the day at the zoo. We had a wonderful time and the kids loved it!! The babies are at great ages where they both are engaged and excited to see the animals.
Charlie's favorite: Alligator
Reese's favorite: Pig, and Elephant
Mommy and Daddy's favorite: Giraffe's

Before the Zoo we had a BIG accident with Reese. Long story but Charlie ended up pushing Reese out the car (while parked in our driveway) but she fell straight on her face. Craig ran inside screaming for me, scolded Charlie, and we tended to poor Reese. We were debating and debating on going to ER (you just never know with the head) but after we read Web MD (which said watch for vomiting and lethargic signs) we thought all was going to be fine We were both nervous all day, especially when she napped but Thank the Lord all was and is ok!

Friday night there was "date night" at our gym. This is where you drop the kids to childcare at the gym (they have games, pizza, etc) and parents have 3-4 hours for date night. We used this time to catch up on some errands without kiddos and go to a nice dinner together!

Sunday we went to church (which is right near the lakefront) so we decided to take our workout clothes and double stroller and go on a run after church on the lakefront. From there we went to the playground for the day and then went home to watch football. It was a perfect day!

Could not have asked for a better weekend for this little family!

Love the new wagon from Mame' and Pops!

love this crew to pieces!
The pig that Reese asked me if she could kiss- hilarious!
Love the grounds of the zoo!
Ready for a nap! And she actually napped great!

Ahhh...aligator!!
Loving his treat!
Those angel eyes- he melts my heart!
